Acceptance

By using Tempo you accept these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

The service

Tempo is a focus timer based on the Pomodoro technique. It lets you create work blocks, add tasks, record breaks and view statistics. The service may change, improve or be partially suspended over time.

Your account

• You are responsible for keeping your password safe.
• You must use an email address you own.
• You may not share your account or resell access.
• You can use Tempo without an account; in that case the data lives in your browser.

Acceptable use

The following is not allowed:

• Attempting to compromise the security or availability of the service.
• Automating signup, login or form submissions.
• Extracting data from other users or from the service at scale.
• Using Tempo for illegal activities.

We may suspend accounts that break these rules.

Plans and payments

There is a Free plan and a Pro plan. Pro is billed in US dollars (USD) and payments are processed by Polar as Merchant of Record, which also calculates applicable taxes.

You can cancel at any time; Pro access remains active until the end of the paid period. Refunds follow Polar's policy.

Your content

The tasks and data you create are yours. You give us only the permission needed to store them and show them to you inside the app.

Availability

Tempo is provided "as is" and "as available". We work to keep it online, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation or that your data will always be available on every device.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, data loss, lost profits or harm arising from the use or inability to use the service.

Changes and termination

We may update these terms. If the change is significant, we will let you know in the app or by email. You can stop using the service and request deletion of your account at any time.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Mexico. Any dispute will be handled by the competent courts of Mexico.
